To this end, we will codify individual data points into a database to develop more and stronger relationships with employers for the purpose of maintaining and growing internships and full-time opportunities for Charlton College of Business Students, now and in the future.

This events is produced for the recognition and celebration of Charlton College of Business students, those who made the Dean’s List, FALL 2015 and Spring 2016. This event aims to increase the presence and engagement of students, employers, and faculty, as we recognize and celebrate the students’ progress in their preparedness with the academic prowess the global economy, and especially our region, expects from them.

This event is presented to share results from a survey questionnaire from employers, who were asked– What skills and competencies college graduates in the Northeast region of the United States lack during the interview process? 56% of employers indicated that “students lack confidence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to integrate into a team environment. They possess inadequate interpersonal and communication skills, both oral, and written. Employers contended that students lack the ability to listen effectively and/or hold a conversation during work hours or at networking events, to name a few. Come and learn how to build and increase your personal and professional brand– from workplace transition to professional savvy, and networking.
